The Super Bowl will be over.  It will be too early to get out the golf clubs or softballs, and naps on a winter afternoon are just plain over rated!
Come and help us take on the project of building FIDO dog houses and IndyFeral feeding stations. Our goal is to complete 20 dog houses and 40 feeding stations.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Life gets harder in the winter for all animals, not just the dogs.  Join us as we start on a new Habitat for Dogmanity project that will benefit the “outdoor living” cats of IndyFeral.

It’s a difficult task to provide ample access to food for the cats, especially during cold months.  Our focus for this day will be on building feeding stations that can be placed in the various cat colonies.  We have a brand new design and will build as many as we can get done in one day.  For more information on ways you can help, contact Paula@habitatfordogmanity.org

WE ARE LOOKING FOR DONATIONS OF WOOD, IN THE FORM OF 2 X 4’S, AND PLYWOOD (PREFERABLY EXTERIOR)

Many thanks to the volunteers of Grace Community Church (GCC) and the University of Indianapolis!  This was the first time for GCC volunteers who chose this option as their weekend of service .

A “HABITAT FOR DOGMANITY” wiinter event was on Sunday, February 10, 2008. We built more dog houses for FIDO (Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside www.indyfido.org). Winter is a critical time for FIDO as they try to help the many dogs with no shelter at all to protect them from the harsh winter conditions.
